Health testing

I can test for candida or parasites, uncover nutrient deficiencies, find out what your food intolerances are, check hormone patterns or identify toxicity problems. As a qualified Nutritional Therapist I regularly use saliva, blood, urine and stool tests to help find imbalances and blockages that cause ill health.

Health testing can be used as part of a programme of nutritional therapy or as a stand-alone service if you want to investigate a specific health complaint. I use the services of one of Europe's leading diagnostic laboratories and your results can be with me within 4-10days, depending on the type of test completed.

Step-by-step

Step 1: Ordering a test kit

All you need to do is give me a call so that I can just check that the test you want to order is the test that is best suited to your needs. I will then call the lab and get them to send out a test kit to your address. The test kit contains everything you’ll need to complete the test. If it’s a blood, test then you’ll get sent everything the nurse or phlebotomist needs to take your blood. The kit also contains addressed packaging to return the samples back to the lab.

Step 2: Returning samples to the lab

It’s best to organise doing your tests at the beginning of the week so that you can get them in the post on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.  You need to send them ‘guaranteed next day delivery’ with the Royal Mail. Remember don’t send them on a Friday as the lab is closed over the weekend.

Step 3: Getting your results

Once the lab receives your test samples it takes anything from 4-10 days depending on the type of test, for your results to be emailed back to me. I will then contact you and arrange a Tests Results Consultation with you. During this consultation I will go through your results with you and explain how they impact on your health. I’ll then put together a dietary and lifestyle ‘Solution Plan’ which also includes details of any relevant supplements.

Step 4: On-going support

You can have ongoing phone, email or consultation support to motivate your progress through your solution plan. Re-tests are also available and can be advised upon.
