Digestive analysis

Your digestive tract is over 30 foot long and has an extremely large surface area, which means that it can be hard to keep healthy. Stress, low fibre diets and not drinking enough water can prevent your stomach and bowels from working properly. If you can’t digest your food properly then it’s hard to absorb all the nutrients you need from your food into your body and it can be difficult to eliminate toxic waste efficiently. You can end up feeling tired and toxic.

Symptoms of stomach pains, bloating, wind, IBS, bad breath, constipation and diarrhoea are good indicators that all is not as it should be within your digestive tract.

Stool tests can check that you are producing enough enzymes to break your food down and screen you for common gut infections like giardia, parasites or helicobacter pylori. They can also measure your levels of good bacteria and detect for markers for bowel cancer.
